  1. What is yacd?

Yacd (Yet Another Clash Dashboard) is a web-based Clash/miHomo front-end management panel. It doesn’t do any proxy work itself, it’s just a lightweight; Remote Control&# 8221; ——Implement visual management by calling mihomo’s RESTful API.

To be honest, after mihomo started running, it was too troublesome to simply change the configuration file through the command line. With yacd, switching nodes, checking connections, and measuring speed became more convenient.

    Core features:

  • Pure front-end, small size, does not consume resources
  • Support proxy group switching, connection viewing, and speed testing
  • Docker One Click Deployment
  1. Docker Deployment Yacd

Running directly with Docker is the most convenient way. One command to handle:

docker run -d \
  --name yacd \
  --restart always \
  -p 12345:80 \
  haishanh/yacd:latest

If pulling the mirror is slow, you can use domestic mirror acceleration:

docker run -d \
  --name yacd \
  --restart always \
  -p 12345:80 \
  docker.1ms.run/haishanh/yacd:latest

Note: Here, docker.1ms.run is used as the image prefix to solve the problem of slow retrieval of Docker Hub images in China. The port mapping is 12345:80, which means external access to the panel is through port 12345.

After deployment is complete, the browser opens:

http://树莓派IP:912345

You can see the interface of yacd now!

3. Connect mihomo backend

After opening the yacd panel, the first step is to connect to mihomo’s API. On the page, you will be prompted to enter:

API Base URL:http://树莓派IP:12344
Secret(密钥):你mihomo配置文件里设置的secret

Here, 12344 is the default API port for mihomo, and the secret corresponds to the external controller secret field in the mihomo configuration file. If you haven’t set a password, just leave it blank.
After filling in the information, click Save. Once the connection is successful, you can see the node information.

4. Main functions of yacd

  1. Proxies management: The Proxies page on the left displays all proxy groups. Clicking on a group can expand the node list, and simply clicking on a node can switch between them
  2. The Connections page displays in real-time all current active connections, including target addresses, proxy nodes used, upload and download speeds, etc. It is particularly useful when troubleshooting, as you can easily identify which connection has gone to which node at a glance.
  3. Click on ‘Latency Test’ on the proxy group page; Test All” Can batch test the latency of all nodes. After testing, sort by delay, and the fastest nodes are clear at a glance.
  4. Configuration management can switch policy modes (Rule/Global/Direct), switch system agents, etc.
  1. Practical Tips

    Tip 1: Quickly switch nodes.

Tip 2: If you feel the internet speed is slow, go to Connections to see if there is a connection that has gone to the wrong node or stuck somewhere.

Tip 3: Regularly measure latency. Node quality may change, it is recommended to run a delay test every few days to remove slow nodes from the strategy group or change the order.

  2. Summary

Yacd is a pure front-end panel that does not involve core proxy logic and is lightweight yet practical. With Docker deployment, a single command can run. For mihomo users, it is almost a must-have management tool.
